In our industry, you never know exactly what to expect from an auto until you see the production model for your own eyes. And, that especially holds true for the top-of-the-line Alfa Romeo brand. Perhaps you have heard about the recent whispers about upcoming models the brand may add, and let us say some are more unlikely than others.  The most recent model we have heard rumors about is the new Alfa Romeo-badged SUV will be unveiled by the end of 2015. The upcoming auto will borrow many elements from the Jeep Cherokee.

British newspaper The Telegraph has recently done a piece on the hypothetical new model. According to the paper, which interviewed Alfa Romeo UK boss Damien Dally, he notes, "there will certainly be an SUV in the next two or three years."1

And, because FIAT owns Alfa Romeo and Jeep it won't be a struggle to share technologies between the two. Both models are based on the Giulietta platform.

We haven't heard where this auto will be sold if it comes to fruition, or what types of engines it would feature.  However, we promise to keep you up to speed on any developing news.
