Dodge enthusiasts like us at A.M Maus and Son are always thrilled when the automaker announces plans to resurrect iconic Dodge styling cues.
And recently at the 2013 Specialty Equipment Market Association (SEMA) Show in Las Vegas, the American automaker unveiled its new Scat Packages (performance enhancers) as well as the Mopar '14 Challenger. But, that’s not all Dodge unveiled. The automaker also debuted the 2014 Challenger R/T Shaker with the iconic Shaker performance hood longtime Dodge enthusiasts loved.
For those of you who aren’t familiar, the engine mounted Dodge Shaker Performance hood was created to appear as though its floating. It was designed for cold-air induction through its visible high-flow intakes. With the Dodge Challenger being one of the most popular new Dodge models it only made sense to add the iconic Shaker performance hood to the model.
You can expect the recently-revealed Dodge Challenger R/T Shaker to embody a unique combination of the classic muscle car the Challenger is known for and so much power you will be left in amazement. Specifically, the model will be powered by a 5.7 HEMI V8 engine that can generate up to 400 lb.-ft. of torque.
The 2014 Dodge Challenger R/T Shaker is scheduled to be at showrooms like ours here in Kimball, MN sometime during the beginning of next year. If you are eager to learn more about the new addition or any other new Dodge car please don’t hesitate to contact A.M. Maus and Son at your earliest convenience.
