At the 2012 Beijing Auto Show, Jeep unveiled a very unique concept coined the Jeep Wrangler Dragon Design Concept. After receiving such a positive welcome, Jeep had no choice, but to bring the concept to production.

So, what makes the Jeep Wrangler Dragon Edition so much more special than the Wrangler? For starters, the SUV is painted black and wears a black 3-part hard top. To highlight the dark hue, Bronze Satin Gloss coloring is incorporated onto the model's badging, front grille, and the accenting around the front lights. The SUV's eighteen-inch five-spoke alloy wheels also feature the Matte Black color scheme, however, they are accented with a Satin Bronze trim around the edges.

Mike Manley, President and CEO of Jeep, talk about the appeal of the special edition Wrangler, noting, "When we introduced the Jeep Wrangler Dragon Design Concept last year, we received tremendously positive feedback. Our loyal Jeep enthusiasts asked us to build this unique Wrangler, and we are delivering exactly what they've asked for. The new 2014 Jeep Wrangler Dragon Edition boasts a stunning, unique, upscale design with styling cues that make it unlike any Wrangler ever seen before."1 The dragon represents of strength and command, and the Dragon Edition most definitely exemplifies both.
