Last month, we were telling you all about the record-breaking sales year that our favorite automakers posted in 2013. It was quite the cause for celebration here at A. M. Maus and Son, but, knowing our favorite automakers, it was only just the beginning.
Case in point: the 127,183 vehicles that Chrysler Group sold in the US last month. Not only was it an 8% year-over-year sales increase, but it was their best January sales numbers since 2008. As for how they got to such a momentous occasion, it was certainly a team effort.
Four Chrysler Group models had their best-ever January sales. The Jeep brand as a whole posted its best-ever January sales. As for last month's best-seller, that would be none other than the 2014 Jeep Grand Cherokee that moved 12,207 units last month - its best January sales in eight years. As for the most improved model, that would be the 2014 Dodge Grand Caravan with a sales increase of 47%.
All in all, it was Chrysler Group's 46th-consecutive month of year-over-year sales gains. Not only that, but our friends up north at Chrysler Canada went and posted their 50th-consecutive month of year-over-year sales gains. Needless to say, it's time once again to break out the bubbly.
So if you'd like to see what all the fuss is about, feel free to take these best-sellers for a test drive at our dealership here in Kimball, MN. Because if things keep going like they're going, who knows what February has in store.
