The crew cab option gives you the most legroom which is great if you’re looking for more passenger space and less carrying capacity with a bed length of 5’7”. On the other end, you can opt for the regular cab which has a bed length of 8’ and seats up to three passengers instead of six.
The base Tradesman trim on both model years of the RAM 150 gets a solid engine of 3.6-liters with a V6 engine that outputs 305 horsepower and 269 pound-feet of torque. A 5.7-liter V8 engine appears on the higher trims like the Sport, Laramie Longhorn, and Limited which gets 395 horsepower and 410 pound-feet of torque. If you’re looking for even more from your RAM 1500, the 3.0-liter turbodiesel V6 puts out 420 pound-feet of torque in an eight-speed automatic.
