There’s really no better way to reinvigorate an entire type of vehicle than with a new ad that shows off its new, younger, and light-hearted nature. And that’s exactly what the 2017 Chrysler Pacifica is doing.

In a new ad campaign, the Pacifica minivan gets shown off with comedian and talk show host, Seth Meyers, and his beloved Italian Greyhound driving the minivan. The ad celebrates National Pet Day and is a clever marketing campaign for the upcoming animated film, The Secret Life of Pets.

The actual ad quickly shows off the vehicle and some of its technical highlights, such as the video monitors behind the front row seats, while Seth talks to his dog, Frisbee, as a clip from the upcoming film plays. While a lot seems to be happening, it’s indicative of what the 2017 Chrysler Pacifica is capable of. It’s the ultimate family vehicle, and it has the multitasking ability to prove it.

Here at A. M. Maus and Son, your Kimball Chrysler dealer, we thought we’d highlight some of the minivan’s most innovative features. After all, when buying a new vehicle, we want to help you learn about our offerings so you can find the best vehicle for you.

Perhaps the most notable feature in the new Pacifica minivan is the optional plug-in hybrid drivetrain. With it, you’ll get 30 miles of pure-electric driving before the V6 engine even kicks in.

Like the 2016 Chrysler Town & Country, the Pacifica minivan includes the amazing stow-and-go seating, while upping the ante. With Stow-and-Go Assist, the seats hide or rise up with the push of a button. Available parallel and perpendicular parking assist mean that you’ll never feel like an elephant fitting into a space that’s too tiny.

LED interior lighting and high-tech touchscreens also add to the functionality of the vehicle. Chances are you’re going to take a road trip or two in your Pacifica minivan. The Uconnect entertainment system that operates inside an available 8.4-inch central display and two 10-inch rear touchscreen means you’ll always have a handy map in front of you and games and movies to entertain the kids behind you.

With a base 3.6-liter V6 engine that makes 287 horsepower and 262 pound-feet of torque, those road trips will fly by. To enter the future of the ultimate family vehicle today, head on down to our dealership and take one for a spin.
