Not every model of car lives forever. New generations bring in new looks, features, and technology. Sometimes, a car reaches the end of its life. But this end often sparks the birth of a new vehicle that dutifully takes its place. A prime example of the life cycle of a brand here at A. M. Maus and Son that we love is the 2017 Chrysler Pacifica.

The new Chrysler Pacifica replaces the 2016 Chrysler Town & Country and brings with it a whole new definition of what the minivan is. FCA automakers aren’t the kind to sit back, however, and get lazy after one success. It’s back to the drawing board here as we prepare to see the retirement of the 2016 Chrysler 200.

Though the beloved, midsize sedan is heading off, there are still models being newly built for the time being, and for good reason. The 2016 Chrysler 200 has a lot to offer and it’s a perfect option for drivers who don’t need the size of a larger 2016 Chrysler 300 or a crossover.

With several trim and package options like the 2016 Chrysler 200 LX, there’s a lot to explore from the Chrysler 200. New to the 2016 model year is the 2016 Chrysler 200 Limited Platinum trim. It includes features like an 8.4-inch Uconnect infotainment touchscreen, leather-trimmed bucket seats, and a bigger engine. With the V6 engine, which puts out 295 horsepower and 262 lb-ft of torque, this small sedan can be both luxurious and fun to drive.

Overall, the 2016 Chrysler 200 still has a lot of life left in it. Though it seems that FCA may be preparing for the next phase of something great, like they did with the Chrysler Pacifica, there’s still plenty to enjoy from this car.
