Upon first glance, you’ll notice how the 2016 RAM 1500 Rebel stands out from the other trims in the series. It exchanges the large cross-grille for a bold one with a large “RAM” insignia printed on it instead of the usual emblem. And now it has another reason to stand out. We’re proud here at A. M. Maus and Son, your Kimball, MN RAM dealership, to share the news that the 2016 RAM 1500 Rebel has been selected as a Mopar 2016 limited-edition vehicle. It’s also the first pickup truck to be selected since Mopar, the service, parts, and customer-care brand, started offering customized limited-edition cars back in 2010.
Mopar has recently produced limited-edition versions of the 2014 Dodge Challenger and the 2015 Dodge Charger. This new offering means that there will be 500 specialized, customized versions of the pickup available. However, the 2016 RAM 1500 Rebel is already pretty unique and customized to begin with.
The Mopar changes for the limited edition include an aluminum dual-bezel hood with a matte-black hood graphic, off-road wheel flares, and a special Mopar blue-and-black graphic stripe accent down both sides as well as across the tailgate. The RAM 1500 Rebel is also powered by a 5.7-liter Hemi V8 engine paired with an eight-speed automatic transmission. It also comes with a skid plate to guard the power steering box and includes the standard billet silver color for the bumper.
