The 2017 Jeep® Wrangler is an amazing 4x4 SUV that proves the commitment to a certain design and performance factor is key to a great vehicle. For generations, the Jeep Wrangler has been an iconic vehicle in the Jeep lineup and for the 2018 model year, that icon is about to get even bigger. That’s because, in addition to a lot of new Jeep SUVs for sale, we’re getting a Jeep Wrangler pickup. And the wait might be less than you think.
The upcoming 2018 Jeep Wrangler line is set to debut at the Los Angeles Auto Show in December. Along for the ride are the next-generation Jeep Wrangler and the officially named Jeep Scrambler pickup truck.
The regular Jeep Wrangler is to be longer and lighter than the current generation’s model. And while retaining the off-road prowess that we’ve come to know and love, the vehicle will also improve in aerodynamics, handling, and come with some new engine choices; including options for a diesel and a turbocharged four-cylinder engine.
The real excitement for us here at A. M. Maus and Son comes from the announcement of the 2019 Jeep Scrambler. It’s a Jeep Wrangler based pickup truck that’s scheduled to begin production toward the end of 2018. Overall, it looks a lot like a Jeep Wrangler, but with the addition of a pickup bed attached to it. We believe that it will share many similar features to the next-generation Jeep Wrangler and includes a two-row cab and a six-foot bed.
