With 2017 coming quickly to a close, it’s time for 2018 models of our favorite vehicles to start popping up. And that’s something that really excites us here at A. M. Maus and Son. One of the most anticipated vehicles for us is, of course, the 2018 Jeep® Wrangler.
As is custom with vehicles that are being tested but not yet ready for release, we’ve seen many images of the camouflaged 2018 Jeep Wrangler. Fortunately for us, and you Jeep SUV fans out there, it’s pretty hard to hide the iconic look and shape with some simple coverage. One big change over the 2017 Jeep Wrangler that we’ve been able to see from leaked spy shots is the new LED turn signal lights that are attached to the front fender. However, that’s not the new design element that we’re most excited about here.
From the photos that we’ve seen recently, it looks as though there are hinges and a clear split between the body of the Jeep Wrangler and the windshield frame. This is huge news as it could suggest that the upcoming 2018 Jeep Wrangler “JL” model could indeed have the folding windshield that so many Jeep Wrangler owners have been wanting. Furthermore, it looks as though it may be even user-friendly.
While today’s model “JK” Jeep Wrangler is capable of folding down the front windshield, it’s not the easiest process and as a result, prevents a lot of drivers from taking full advantage of their Jeep model. And while we may not drive with the windshield down in the coming months here in Kimball, MN, it will surely be a treat come next summer.
