Summer in Minnesota is an exciting time, as the warm weather allows us to put away the heavy jackets and winter wear and actually enjoy going outside. It also changes the way many of us think about driving. Getting in our vehicles, hoping they’ve warmed up enough to transport us through the cold, no longer applies. And for many Kimball, MN area Jeep® drivers, summer is the best time to take the top off of that 2016 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited or pack up our 2016 Jeep Cherokee and head to the lake.
This summer marks the third annual Summer of Jeep campaign, which is not only showcasing its special edition lineup for the 75th anniversary of Jeep automobiles, but the automaker has also teamed up with USA Olympic men’s and Indiana Pacers basketball player Paul George, as well as Sony/ATV Music Publishing. The campaign sports three new commercials, two of which feature Paul George with his Jeep Wrangler.
In one ad, “What I Stand For”, we see George at the beach with his friends, playing basketball while his voiceover speaks about what inspires him. The ad concludes with a shot of George and friends driving away as text pops up that boasts Jeep as the official vehicle of Summer. Here at A. M. Maus and Son, we don’t disagree. Summer often exemplifies freedom and the ability to explore and journey with friends and family. And so has the Jeep brand for the past 75 years.
“Positioning the Jeep brand’s 75th Anniversary Special Edition lineup as the official vehicles of summer gives us the opportunity to celebrate this brand achievement and highlight the open-air freedom that enables consumers to go out and enjoy the season to its full potential,” said Mike Manley, head of Jeep brand and RAM brand, in a press release.
We invite you to celebrate your summer and enjoy everything it has to offer. Now is the perfect time to stop by our 21 Maus Drive Jeep dealership and kick off summer right with a brand new 2016 Jeep like a 2016 Jeep Grand Cherokee Limited, which is perfect for a weekend at the cabin or a day trip to the lake.
